Agree with Prince Charles? Well, I never!
The Prince complained that young people today believed they could succeed in life without having the necessary talent or doing the hard work required.
Although these comments are from way back in March, I have to sheepishly admit that I agree with the old toff! My only exception: don't pick on young people- it's ALMOST ALL people!
The belief that you will be plucked from obscurity and into stardom has reached plague proportions... The notion that if, in the right light, you sorta look kinda like Kylie Minogue, then you've got it made... Even the idea that fame is somehow a great thing...
Never thought I'd agree with Charles, but the question must be asked: why are so many people, so deluded?

Who is the Inner Nana?
Well I may look twentysomething on the outside, but as Yoda said, "The Inner Nana is strong in this one, Luke."
I call on you all to embrace hand-knitted bedsocks, Lovett's crosswords, going to bed after The Price Is Right, and gardener's hand cream.
When you next receive an invite to a glamourous arts event, I urge you to decline and instead seek solace in the Doona, spiritual home of all Inner Nanas.
